Elle Jimenez, globally recognized as Mermaid Elle®, is a world-renowned mermaid entertainer, professional diver, award-winning content creator, author, and conservationist.

Elle has been captivating audiences with mermaid entertainment and underwater performances since 2016. Her work has gained international recognition, with features in prominent media outlets such as Allure and VOGUE.

 

Building on her experience as a professional actress and dancer, Elle now brings her passion for performance to life through her unique aquatic performances.

 

She has performed in front of celebrities and personalities, including Bruno Mars, Richard Branson, Ed Sheeran, Tiësto, Guy Harvey, Kate Upton, Devon Windsor, and Enrique Iglesias, among others.

Professional Diver
An expert diver, Elle is certified as a PADI Freediver, Emergency First Response Instructor, American Red Cross Lifeguard, Open Water Diver, and PADI Mermaid Instructor Trainer. She is known for her diving proficiency, with over 1,000 freedives and a breath-hold of over 3 minutes.

 

Elle garnered global attention in 2022 when she helped rescue a scuba diver off Catalina Island, California, during one of her mermaid diving courses.

Filmmaker & Award-Winning Content Creator
Elle is a film school graduate actively involved in the film and TV industries, both behind and in front of the camera since 2008.

 As Mermaid Elle®, Elle has built a dedicated following of over 4 million fans on social media, by sharing her professional mermaid work through storytelling and captivating videos, amassing over half a billion views worldwide.

 

Her popular YouTube Shorts, along with the Mermaid Elle Saving the Seas series on YouTube earned her both the Silver Play Button award for reaching over 100,000 subscribers and, soon after, the Gold Play Button award for reaching over 1 million subscribers.

Elle’s debut kids chapter book, Mermaid Elle Saving the Seas, will release on June 3, 2025, and is available for pre-order on Amazon, Target, Barnes & Noble, and other retailers.

 

The book follows her beloved mermaid character, Mermaid Elle®, as a mermaid princess superhero, on a mission to defeat a pollution monster with the help of her sea friends and humans.

Conservationist
An ocean conservation advocate since 2016, Elle promotes awareness and action for ocean conservation through her work as a mermaid and founded the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Saving the Seas. This organization is dedicated to advancing ocean conservation efforts worldwide by inspiring young minds to learn about the oceans through art, education and entertaiment.
